Vienna Trans Folk (VTF) is yet another Telegram Group by and for Trans* and Non-Binary people and everyone else questioning and/or not identifying with their gender assigned at birth, especially those currently living in Vienna. We mostly use this group to organize small informal meetups. (For the most part just going out for drinks, and meeting for picnics in Vienna's lovely parks.)

Please don't post NSFW media on this group. (However, it's okay to announce/organize NSFW events and meetups, just make sure it's safe for people to open the group at their place of work or in public transportation. ;)
First steps
Read this page carefully.
Join the Telegram Group via the invite link.
Post a short intro message with the hash tag #intro. Make sure to include your preferred name and pronouns in your intro.
Posts expire after three months. Feel free to re-introduce yourself when a new person is joining, especially if your previous intro has expired or will expire soon.
Feel free to post selfies whenever you have some that you like. Use the hashtag #selfie for those posts.
Organizing Meetups
Anyone can announce their ad-hoc meetups in the group.
Simply post a message with the hash tag #meetup, such as
"Anyone up for drinks at XYZ tonight 20:00? #meetup"To keep the channel less noisy simply react with a 👍 if you are planning on joining a meetup.
Use real-time location sharing in the group to find each other at outdoor events.
Use polls to find a good time and/or location for your meetup.
It's okay to forward announcements for events from other groups in our group.
Please don't forward announcements from our group to other groups without asking the organizer of the meetup for permission first.
